Fresh on the floor this morning after a freshen up from our magician restorer Tony this pair of oak marble top bedside cabinets. A good design featuring cabinet and drawer and a waterproof, scratch proof top. Dating from around the 1920's they are oak lined throughout.

New Stock - Late Victorian Mahogany Davenport

Bought on the door here at the shop yesterday and in need of a little restoration this late Victorian mahogany Davenport with carved and ebonised detailing by the celebrated manufactureres Maple & Co. Incorperating writing slope with original leather lifting to reveal a satin birch lined interior with drawers, a pop-up lid letter rack and bank of drawers within the main body. Stamped Maple & Co. on the top of the door in the base.

Fresh out of the workshop this afternoon this wonderful pair of mid 19th.c carved mahogany side or hall chairs. Very dense timber, well carved and of a good colour, with an unusual leg.

Mid Victorian half moon burr walnut folding card table on carved base. In need of some restoration - I will post more pictures when it has been through the workshop.
Early 19th.c. mahogany folding card table with good inlay and flame mahogany veneers. On a base of four turned columns, sable legs and original brass feet with castors £695.

A popular design with a useful drawer above the cabinet and a marble top perfect for holding a glass of water without marking. On turned legs with original brass castors. These cabinets are part of a large bedroom suite. The wardrobe and dressing table will be listed shortly.
