This will probably be the last post for a couple of weeks as the blog is off to dabble its feet in the warm waters of the Adriatic. In the meantime I'll finish up with some images of this unusually large late 19th.c. carved oak monk's bench. With fold over backrest to form a table and lots of useful storage under the lift-up seat. Restored and repolished in our workshop.
