Percy Lancaster Poster Designs

Purchased locally this morning these two splendid original gouache or watercolour poster designs by the celebrated landscape artist Percy Lancaster (1878-1951). In the wonderful graphic style of the travel poster designs of the 1930's, this is a departure from the artists unsual style. Titled The Anglesey Coast and Wild Wales and measuring 15" x 11", each is clearly signed in the lower left hand corner.
