Wonderful Welsh Dresser c.1780 - Original Throughout.

Delighted to be able to bring you photos of our wondeful new Welsh dresser this morning. Out on the shop floor today after being cleaned and waxed over the weekend, this is a really remarkable example of what is still the most highly regarded piece of traditional Welsh furniture.
Measuring an impressive 85" wide x 86" tall it is in superb condition, constructed of solid oak throughout with original oak drawer linings, floor and back boards and original brass handles and knobs. A well proportioned rack with unusual carved cornice and reeded column sides sits above six small oak lined 'spice drawers'. A breakfront base features a central bank of four large working drawers, flanked on either side with drawers and cupboards. With quater columns and an unusual shaped bottom rail. This wonderful piece of Georgian country funiture would have been produced in North Wales in the late 1700's.
£8995 including full dresser set of plates.
