Victorian Burr Walnut Coffee Table.

This superb mid Victorian burr walnut centre table with quartered veneers and a good carved base has been reduced in height to make a generous sized coffee table. In excellent condition having been repolished in our workshops

Mahogany Sideboard c.1870.

New for today this good size two door mahogany side cabinet c.1870. Ample storage behind the cupboard doors and extra space beneath the unusual lift up top (a good enough hiding place to foil the average burglar). Excellent colour and condition having been restored in our workshops.

Mid 19th.c Mahogany Sideboard Chiffonier.

Another item of last weeks new stock here. A useful mid 19th.c. mahogany chiffonier sideboard with three drawers above a three door inverted breakfront cupboard base, fitted with original slides and bottle drawer. Excellent colour and condition, the top is particularly clean.

Victorian Walnut Davenport c.1870.

A delightful piece of Victorian design for the blog today. This small late 19th.c 'Davenport' writing desk is veneered in a beautiful coloured burr Walnut. The slope lifts to reveal a satinwood lined compartment whilst the brass galleried top section hides a letter rack and ink stand. The bank of four drawers on the right hand side is echoed with dummy drawer fronts on the left. In excellent condition having been restored and repolished in our workshop.

Arts & Crafts Style Dining Suite.

An unusual arrival here at the shop this morning in the shape of this late 19th.c pale oak dining suite. A good single leaf windout dining table, set of six chairs and a matching buffet side table with carved art nouveau or arts and crafts tulip motif and original handles. In good solid unrestored condition.

Early Victorian Mahogany Dining Chairs.

More images here of new stock which came through the workshop last week. Here are a fine set of six early Victorian carved mahogany dining chairs c.1850. With an unusual shaped top rail, an attractively shaped leg and original covers. Superb quality timber, repolished by us, this is solid and substantial set of chairs which will stand everyday use.

Large Wing Back Armchair.

Lots of great new stock to catch up with here at warehouse after a week away. First up is this large Queen Anne style wing back armchair c.1920. Good carved leg and stretcher, generous feather cushion and very clean upholstery.

Early 19th.c Oak Chest of Drawers.

The blog is away for a week in the capital but before I go here is one more new item. Late Georgian oak chest of drawers with mahogany crossbanding and inlaid detail. Welsh/Cheshire borders c.1810. Excellent colour and condition restored and repolished in our workshops.

Four Door Mahogany Sideboard.

Fresh on the floor this afternoon after a few days in the workshop this mid Victorian four door mahogany sideboard is an imposing piece of furniture. Ample storage in three drawers above four cupboard doors. Unusual shaped door panels with well figured veneers. Restored and repolished.

Serpentine Front Wardrobe.

Superb quality Edwardian inlaid mahogany serpentine front wardrobe. Excellent flame mahogany veneers on the door panels, solid mahogany sides, oak back, nicely detailed cornice and original brass handles. Ample hanging space inside and a single drawer below. Restored, repolished and fitted with a hanging rail. For ease of delivery into even very small interiors this wardrobe disassembles completely.
