Bedside Chest of Drawers.

New for today this delightful small inlaid mahogany serpentine front bedside chest of drawers c.1910. Superb quality with oak drawer linings, inlaid and crossbanded drawer fronts and top and brass drops. Excellent condition, restored and repolished in our workshop.

Mahogany Partners Desks.

Like the proverbial London bus it seems we have waited a long time to have a partners desk in the shop and now two have come along at once. First up is a rather elegant serpentine front reproduction mahogany desk fitted with drawers in front and cupboards in the planer rear side. Excellent quality and colour.

Also out on the shop floor now is the hugely imposing Edwardian mahogany partners desk first featured on the blog a couple of weeks ago. Now restored and repolished and pictured here with a swivelling office chair which is a particularly good colour match to the desk's leather top. Fitted on both sides with drawers.

New Stock.

Hello everyone - back in the harness today after a wonderful break, refreshed and with lots of new stock to catch up on. For starters here is wonderful mid 19th.c. mahogany breakfront four door wardrobe. Good plain lines, flame mahogany door panels and carved detail to cornice. With full length hanging space either side of the central section fitted with three large drawers. Original throughout, repolished in our workshops, keys supplied.

Blog Off!

This will probably be the last post for a couple of weeks as the blog is off to dabble its feet in the warm waters of the Adriatic. If you are looking for anything specific please don't hesitate to contact the shop which will be open seven days a weeks as normal with lots of new stock arriving everyday.
In the meantime I'll finish up with some images of this unusually large late 19th.c. carved oak monk's bench. With fold over backrest to form a table and lots of useful storage under the lift-up seat. Restored and repolished in our workshop.

Elegent Edwardian mahogany inverted breakfront pedestal desk. In excellent condition having been restored, repolished and fitted with a new leather top. Polished on all sides, original handles, keys supplied.

Arts & Crafts Display Cabinet.

Apoolgies for the lack of posts this week, it was not for want of new stock which continues to arrive daily. One of the highlights of the last few days was this unusual Arts and Crafts style Edwardian mahogany display cabinet. Cleaned and repolished in our workshop but featuring original handles and lining.

Reynolds of Ludlow Yew Wood Coffee Tables.

Some nice examples of British mid century modern furniture for today's blog. Two striking yew wood coffee tables in the manner of George Nakashima by Reyolds of Ludlow c.1960.

Reynolds was established in the early1950's as a small father and son producer of hand crafted furniture inspired by the ethos of the Arts and Crafts movement. Unfortunately there premises was destroyed by fire in the late 1970's and the company folded soon after.

Victorian Mahogany Side Cabinet c.1870.

Unusual mid Victorian mahogany three door, half moon side cabinet with serpentine top and plinth. Restored and repolished in our workshops. Keys supplied.

Excellent value for money and lots of useful storage with this early 20th.c. Chippendale style mahogany sideboard c.1920. Lion's mask handles and well carved ball and claw feet.

Late 19th.c. Carved Mahogany Picture Easel

New for today this very unusual late 19th.c. carved mahogany picture stand or easel. Excellent asymmetrical floral carving with a definite Art Nouveau feel. Height adjustable.

Huuuuge Edwardian Mahogany Partner's Desk.

A spectacular new arrival here at the showroom this afternoon. A massive 7' x 4'6" Edwardian mahogany partner's desk. Fitted with drawers to both sides and a burgundy leather in excellent condition. In need of a little restoration, I shall post again when it is finished.
