Oak Dining Table.

This large pale oak, late 19th.c. extending dining table is a new arrival here today. Good colour, plain tuned leg and original casters. The table opens with a corkscrew mechanism to accept two 18" leaves to make a maximum length of 95". Fully extended this table will comfortably seat 10 people. The differences in colour to the table top suggest the leaves were kept separately from the table which has lightened over the years. I shall post again when it is restored and repolished.
