Unusual Biedermeier Wash Stand c.1820.

Very unusual mahogany Biedermeier style washstand, northern European, probably German c.1820. With the original mirror plate in an octagonal frame on carved stand. Most importantly it retains its original marble top featuring a shallow oval dish to stop items rolling off the side. A striking piece of early 19th design.
