Mahogany Library Bookcase c.1830.

An imposing and superb quality piece of antique furniture for today's blog. This tall early 19th.c. mahogany bookcase is new on the floor today having been restored and repolished in our workshop. Good glazed bookcase top on a base with two drawers above a cupboard base fitted with drawers. Excellent flame mahogany veneers, cluster column detail on the corners and an unusual two thirds / one third division on the doors.
